Rotary two-post lifts run from the 7,000 lb. SPOA7-MP asymmetric pad lift to the 20,000 lb. SPO20 with TRIO arms. The 10,000 lb. SPOA10 (asymmetric) and SPO10 (symmetric) come with 2-stage or All-Vehicle (AV) arms, and the 12,000 lb. SPO12-AV is a symmetric lift with All-Vehicle arms. Extended-height (EH) versions are available for the SPOA7-MP, SPOA10, SPO10 and SPO12-AV, and low-ceiling versions for the SPO12-AV, SPO16-AV and SPO20. The 16,000 lb. SPO16-AV is offered with standard or Cargo All-Vehicle arms, and most models are also listed in a Shockwave™ version.

A symmetric lift centers the vehicle between the columns, which suits trucks, vans and long wheelbases. Many light-duty two-post lifts call for about 4¼ to 5 inches of concrete rated at least 3,000 PSI, and Rotary uses 5 inches of 3,000-PSI concrete as a general rule. Heavier lifts and seismic areas can need more. The exact requirement is in each model’s installation manual. See our car lift concrete requirements guide.
Most two-post lifts need about 11 to 12 feet of ceiling to fully raise a vehicle. For lower ceilings, look at low-ceiling models: the Forward Lift BP9 is built for spaces with 10-foot ceilings, and Rotary offers low-ceiling versions of the SPO12-AV, SPO16-AV and SPO20. Confirm the model’s specs before you buy.
