Rotary SM14 Shockwave – 14,000 lb. Closed Front Four Post Lift

The Rotary SM14 Shockwave (model SM14 Shockwave™, base part number SM14U101Y) is a 14,000 lb. capacity drive-on four post lift from Rotary’s SM14 family, built for cars, vans, trucks and light and medium-duty commercial vehicles within rated capacity. This standard length model handles vehicles up to a 182″ maximum wheelbase and has Rotary’s Shockwave™ power system. It is available in two colors, Blue and Red, both at the same price.

Runways and Locks

The lift rises 73 3/4″ from the floor to the top of the runways at full stroke. Standard features include:

Shockwave™ Lift Technology

Rotary’s Shockwave™ package uses DC power for a faster lift cycle: a 35-second full rise versus 65 seconds for the standard power unit. It runs on two Group 24 batteries (not included) kept charged from a 110V supply. With the Shockwave™ unit mounted on the column side or front, the lift’s overall length or width is 10 1/2″ longer, so plan your bay layout accordingly.

Warranty Summary

All Rotary Wheel Service serialized products are covered under warranty for a period of three years to the original owner.  Important: The warranty period begins once the product is invoiced to an authorized Distributor/ Purchaser/ Account.  This date can be adjusted by submitting to VSG Customer Service the Warranty Activation Form indicating either the installation date or proof of retail purchase date. This warranty covers any failure of the serialized product under normal use and service, caused by a defect in VSG material or factory workmanship (“Warrantable Failure”). VSG shall pay for reasonable costs of transportation and labor for replacement of warrantable parts only during the first 12 months of the warranty period.

Accessories are warranted to the original owner for a period of one year from the retail invoice date. If a retail invoice cannot be produced, the date of the original VSG invoice shall initiate the one-year warranty period.

VSG warrants against defects in material and factory workmanship only. VSG does not cover wear or wear out of covered parts due to normal wear and tear.

VSG, at its option, will repair or replace any part that is found to have failed due to a Warrantable Failure. VSG, at its discretion, may require the part returned to VSG for inspection to determine warrantability.

This warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, including routine calibrations, remedies for routine maintenance; damage or malfunction caused by, but not limited to improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation; or force major events. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment on which unauthorized repairs or alterations have been attempted and/or made to the product.

This warranty is exclusive and all other expressed or implied warranties including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby expressly excluded. The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall VSG be liable for any special, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind including but not limited to damages for breach of or delay in performance of the warranty.

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the State of Indiana in the County of Jefferson.
