Rotary SPO16-AV Cargo Shockwave low ceiling – 16,000 lb. Symmetric Two Post Lift

The Rotary SPO16-AV Cargo Shockwave low ceiling (model SPO16-AV Cargo Low Ceiling Shockwave™, base part number SPO16U20AL) is a 16,000 lb. capacity heavy-duty symmetric two post lift with Rotary’s Cargo All-Vehicle (AV) arms. It is built for work trucks, vans and other heavy vehicles within rated capacity. This model has Rotary’s Shockwave™ power system and low ceiling columns for shorter bays. It is available in two colors, Blue and Red, both at the same price.

Cargo All-Vehicle Arms and Included Adapters

Rotary’s 3-stage Cargo AV arms extend 5″ farther than the standard SPO16-AV arms, for a reach of 36 1/4″ to 75″. They are designed for longer-wheelbase vehicles such as delivery and cargo vans. Minimum adapter height is 4 3/4″ and maximum adapter height is 16″. With true symmetrical lifting, the center of gravity is spotted between the columns. The Cargo model includes:

  • Thread-up truck adapters with rubber pads
  • (4) clip-on rubber adapter pads for unibody vehicles
  • (4) 5″ and (2) 10″ stackable adapter extensions
  • SpotLine™ motion-activated laser

Rotary’s Double-S columns use a compact cross-section with a single-piece overhead. The lift locks every 4″, has a single point lock release and automatic arm restraints, and is performance tested to 20,000 lift cycles. It is ALI Gold Certified. Height and width can be set to fit your bay in 6″ increments.

Shockwave™ Lift Technology

Rotary’s Shockwave™ package uses DC power for a faster lift cycle: a 60-second full rise versus 81 seconds for the standard power unit. It runs on batteries kept charged by a built-in 110V charger, so it does not need a 220V circuit. Shockwave™ models also include Rotary’s SpotLine™ motion-activated laser for spotting vehicles.

Low Ceiling Design

The low ceiling version has a 13′ 6″ to 14′ 6″ overall height and needs a minimum ceiling height of 13′ 8″ to 14′ 8″, compared with 15′ to 16′ 6″ overall and 15′ 2″ to 16′ 8″ minimum ceiling for the standard height model. Warranty Summary

All Rotary Wheel Service serialized products are covered under warranty for a period of three years to the original owner.  Important: The warranty period begins once the product is invoiced to an authorized Distributor/ Purchaser/ Account.  This date can be adjusted by submitting to VSG Customer Service the Warranty Activation Form indicating either the installation date or proof of retail purchase date. This warranty covers any failure of the serialized product under normal use and service, caused by a defect in VSG material or factory workmanship (“Warrantable Failure”). VSG shall pay for reasonable costs of transportation and labor for replacement of warrantable parts only during the first 12 months of the warranty period.

Accessories are warranted to the original owner for a period of one year from the retail invoice date. If a retail invoice cannot be produced, the date of the original VSG invoice shall initiate the one-year warranty period.

VSG warrants against defects in material and factory workmanship only. VSG does not cover wear or wear out of covered parts due to normal wear and tear.

VSG, at its option, will repair or replace any part that is found to have failed due to a Warrantable Failure. VSG, at its discretion, may require the part returned to VSG for inspection to determine warrantability.

This warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, including routine calibrations, remedies for routine maintenance; damage or malfunction caused by, but not limited to improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation; or force major events. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment on which unauthorized repairs or alterations have been attempted and/or made to the product.

This warranty is exclusive and all other expressed or implied warranties including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby expressly excluded. The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall VSG be liable for any special, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind including but not limited to damages for breach of or delay in performance of the warranty.

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the State of Indiana in the County of Jefferson.
