Warranty Summary

Two Post and Four Post Vehicle Lift weight capacity models 7,000 lbs. through 14,000 lbs. are warranted for (5) years on structural components and (1) year on hydraulic power units and cylinders from invoice date. Low Rise and Mid Rise Lifts weight capacity models 6,000 lbs. are warranted for (1) year on structural components and (1) year on hydraulic power units and cylinders from invoice date. Rotisserie units, Motorcycle Lifts, Jacks, Lift Accessories, Jack Stands and Lift Kits, etc. are warranted for (1) year on structural components and (1) year on air / hydraulic power units and pneumatic cylinders from invoice date.

NOTE: ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE MANUFACTURER TO BE VALID.

Complete Warranty and Legal Terms

All Direct Lift products are warranted to the original owner only. Direct Lift two and four-post lifts are warranted for 5 years from invoice date on structural components (columns, arms, runways, and carriages) to be free of defects in material and workmanship. Non-structure items (cylinder, power unit, and parts) are warranted for 1 year from the invoice date. All other lifts and accessories are warranted for 1 year from invoice date on structural components, hydraulic power units, and cylinders. Direct Lift shall replace those parts returned to the factory which proves upon inspection by Direct Lift to be defective. Direct Lift shall pay for reasonable costs of ground transportation of said parts only and no labor for replacement of said parts. Registration of the lift is required to receive the warranty coverage. This warranty shall not apply unless the product is installed, operated, used and maintained in accordance with Direct Lift’s specifications set forth in the installation, operation and maintenance instructions. This warranty is exclusive and all other expressed or implied warranties including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby expressly excluded. The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall Direct Lift or any sales agent be liable for any special, consequential or incidental damages of any kind including damages for breach of or delay in performance of the warranty. This warranty shall be governed under the laws of the State of Indiana and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the State of Indiana in the County of Jefferson. This warranty does not apply to the following: Normal wear and tear items such as cables, sheaves, sliders, plastic and rubber components.

  • Normal maintenance and adjustments as required by the owner’s manual.
  • Failure to follow installation and operation instructions or user neglect or abuse.
  • Damage caused by corrosion of any kind.
  • Damage to components incurred during transportation or unloading.
  • Damage caused by improper lifting or overloading.
  • Any lift that has been altered from the original design or improperly repaired.
  • Cosmetic defects or blemishes that do not interfere with the functionality of the lift.

Warranty Summary

All Forward Lift products are warranted to the original owner. Forward lifts are warranted for 5 years from invoice date on structural components (columns, arms, runways, and carriages) to be free of defects in material and workmanship. Non-structure items (cylinder, power unit and parts) are warranted for 12 months from invoice date. Forward Lift shall pay for reasonable costs of labor and transportation for replacement of said parts for the first twelve months.

All accessories are warranted for 1 year from invoice date to the original owner (parts only). Optional twenty four month Extended parts warranty (non-structural items) is available upon request at an additional charge. This warranty shall not apply unless the product is installed, operated, used and maintained in accordance with Forward Lift specifications set forth in the installation, operation and maintenance instructions. This warranty is exclusive and all other expressed or implied warranties including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby expressly excluded. The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall Forward Lift or any sales agent be liable for any special, consequential or incidental damages of any kind including damages for breach of or delay in performance of the warranty. This warranty shall be governed under the laws of the State of Indiana, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the State of Indiana in the County of Jefferson. This warranty does not apply to the following:

Warranty Summary

All Rotary Wheel Service serialized products are covered under warranty for a period of three years to the original owner.  Important: The warranty period begins once the product is invoiced to an authorized Distributor/ Purchaser/ Account.  This date can be adjusted by submitting to VSG Customer Service the Warranty Activation Form indicating either the installation date or proof of retail purchase date. This warranty covers any failure of the serialized product under normal use and service, caused by a defect in VSG material or factory workmanship (“Warrantable Failure”). VSG shall pay for reasonable costs of transportation and labor for replacement of warrantable parts only during the first 12 months of the warranty period.

Accessories are warranted to the original owner for a period of one year from the retail invoice date. If a retail invoice cannot be produced, the date of the original VSG invoice shall initiate the one-year warranty period.

VSG warrants against defects in material and factory workmanship only. VSG does not cover wear or wear out of covered parts due to normal wear and tear.

VSG, at its option, will repair or replace any part that is found to have failed due to a Warrantable Failure. VSG, at its discretion, may require the part returned to VSG for inspection to determine warrantability.

This warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, including routine calibrations, remedies for routine maintenance; damage or malfunction caused by, but not limited to improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation; or force major events. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment on which unauthorized repairs or alterations have been attempted and/or made to the product.

This warranty is exclusive and all other expressed or implied warranties including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby expressly excluded. The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall VSG be liable for any special, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind including but not limited to damages for breach of or delay in performance of the warranty.

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the State of Indiana in the County of Jefferson.
